On Wednesday, November 28, 2017, at approximately 1937 hours deputies responded to the area of Road 234 and 1-25 on the report of a missing hunter.

The deceased individual dropped his son off at a residence on Road 234 at approximately 1600 hours and then drove his van to the west side of 1-25 in an attempt to scout for deer. The man was supposed to return to pick up his son when it got dark outside. When he failed to return to pick up his son is when the Sheriffs Department was called. Friends and family attempted to search for the missing hunter. The body was found approximately 2 miles west of 1-25 in the area of Nimmo Road.

At this time there does not appear to be any type of foul play. An autopsy will be taking place today at the McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. The deceased male was 43 years of age and a Cheyenne Resident.
