First UW Presidential Candidate Visits Campus

The first of 3 candidates to become the next President of the University of Wyoming visited the Laramie campus. The current President of Texas Tech University, Duane Nelis had four meetings Monday with faculty members, students, an open forum, and Q&A session with faculty and students.

On Wednesday, Laurie Nichols, the current Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at South Dakota State University will visit campus, while Rochester Institute of Technology’s Jeremy Hefner will visit Laramie on December 14th.

UW Board of Trustees indicate they’ll make an announcement on the school’s 26th president sometime before the holidays.
