Since he was old enough to talk, Keith wanted to be involved in sports in some way. When it was evident that his pursuit of a Major League Baseball career would not happen, he thought why not give sports broadcasting a try.
Keith graduated from Oklahoma State University, although he’s an avid OU fan, with a degree in Arts and Sciences from the School of Journalism and Broadcasting at OSU. His first job was in Chadron, Nebraska, and after two years there he took a position in the sports department at KFBC in Cheyenne. After ten years in the Capital City, it’s safe to say this is home for Keith.
Keith has been named the sportscaster of the year in Wyoming three times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA). Keith has also won play-by-play of the year from the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters two times.
