Online Guide Available for Laramie County Voters

By Staff – 13 Aug ’14

The League of Women Voters in Cheyenne has compiled an online voters’ guide for most political races that are on the ballot in Laramie County, to accompany the videos of candidate forums recorded in July.

The guide is available at the Website for LWV of Wyoming, along with the Cheyenne-produced videos, at www.wyominglwv.org:

  • For the video forums recorded by LWV Cheyenne, go to the home page and find the link at the bottom of the page.
  • For the voters’ guide for statewide candidates, find the link on the left side of the page.
  • For the voters’ guide for Laramie County, legislative and Cheyenne City Council candidates, find “Local Leagues” at the top of the home page and click on “Cheyenne.”

The primary is Aug. 19, although many voters are casting ballots early by mail or in the atrium of the Laramie County Government Complex. The General Election is Nov. 4. You can register at the polls, with a valid government-issued ID card.

LWV Cheyenne composed questions for the Laramie County, legislative and Cheyenne City Council races and contributed additional questions for the top five statewide elected official candidates. If you can’t find a candidate’s response to a question, he or she did not submit a response by the deadline of Aug. 14. LWV printed responses verbatim but did impose a 250-word limit.

The League is a non-profit, non-partisan political organization that does not support candidates but does advocate for issues.
