The Cheyenne Police Department is still trying determine the exact events surrounding a shooting that left two Cheyenne men dead. 23-year-old Justin Morrison and 23-year-old Darrian Mathis were shot during an altercation outside of house in the 4000 block of East 14th street on the East side of Cheyenne, Sunday night. Dan Long, Public Information Officer for the Cheyenne Police Department, said this case isn’t as open and shut as others.
Long added that the public doesn’t need to be concerned that there is a someone at large that has killed two people.
Long said there was a party going on at the home where the shootings took place and alcohol was present.
